The position:


We are looking for Assistant EPs to work with us in Hull and the North-West in order to support our growing and dynamic team of Educational Psychologists and specialist support staff. 

You will be joining our fabulous team, delivering services to a number of schools in your area under the close supervision of an experienced Educational Psychologist. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with your schools and get to understand their needs. You will decide how best to use your time and skills to give your schools the best service, with the support of all of our brilliant team whenever you need it. 


With no statutory work, you can be involved with more creative work, including systemic interventions (e.g. Appreciative Inquiry) across schools and trusts, whole-class interventions and training. Our assess-plan-do-review model for individual casework also offers the opportunity to design and implement collaborative interventions with schools and families and evaluate impact over the longer-term.

The Team:


In addition to our team of over 23 Educational Psychologists, our multi-disciplinary team is always available for support and advice and is made up of:

  • ASC Specialist Teacher

  • Advisory Teacher for Interaction and Communication

  • Therapist (Drama, Play) 

  • Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist

  • Speech and Language Therapist

About you:

We are looking for passionate, proactive people who really care about delivering positive outcomes for young people, their families and the schools and settings in which they work. You will feel very much part of the team, with access to all shared resources and group an individual supervision opportunities as well as lots of support from management and peers. 


You will need to be reliable, consistent and demonstrate an enthusiastic and proactive approach to communication and organisation.
