Between 4-7 March 2019, Dr Jonny Craig presented to over 150 special educational needs coordinator’s across Lancashire.
Five cluster meetings were held over four days focusing on the topic of working memory. The SENCO cluster meetings are held over different locations and run by Lancashire County Council.
They are an important opportunity for SENCO’s to meet together and develop a peer support network as well as keeping informed of new developments both nationally and at local authority level.
Both Dr Craig and Dr Lamb, directors at Applied Psychologies, have presented at the Lancashire SENCO cluster meetings over the last few years.
We have had some great feedback from participants:
"I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your talk on working memory during the SENCO cluster yesterday afternoon. I found the range of strategies discussed backed up with evidence was particularly useful. I hope to see you at another event soon!"
Inclusion Manager, Lancs.
