About the event
The Teaching Assistant Practitioner Programme (TAPP): Cognition & Learning offers a range of benefits for schools, support staff and pupils by developing specialist expertise in learning and cognition interventions and strategies.
This is the last of five sessions in the programme. You can buy standalone sessions or buy all five for a discounted price.
Attendees will learn step-by-step how to implement paired reading approaches to improve pupils’ reading fluency, confidence and engagement. The session explores practical strategies for supporting struggling readers, fostering positive reading experiences using a Self-Determination Theory framework and monitoring progress to ensure that interventions lead to meaningful improvements in reading outcomes.
