About the event
The Teaching Assistant Practitioner Programme (TAPP): Cognition & Learning offers a range of benefits for schools, support staff and pupils by developing specialist expertise in learning and cognition interventions and strategies.
This is the third of five sessions in the programme. You can buy standalone sessions or buy all five for a discounted price.
Attendees will develop an understanding of the principles of Precision Teaching and how to use data to identify learning needs, monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions delivered.
The session will share strategies to accelerate fluency development in skills such as word reading, spelling and numeracy, and how to monitor pupil progress and demonstrate measurable impact, enabling Teaching Assistants to deliver targeted, evidence-informed support with confidence.
