Trainee EP placements available for September 24

Updated: Feb 27

Employed Trainee Educational Psychologist (TEP) positions available in each of our 3 geographic hubs for September.

  • North West (Liverpool and Lancashire areas available)

  • Teesside

  • Hull and Grimsby

September 2024 will be our fifth year offering doctoral trainee placements. Over the last four years we have developed our offer to ensure that trainees have a varied, challenging, and supportive placement for years two and three.

Our natural growth has made room for additional supervisory capacity allowing us to support a trainee in each of our geographic hubs. You will join our team of 29 assistant, trainee, main grade, and senior EPs, our occupational, speech, language and drama therapists and our specialist teachers for interaction and communication.

The role will give you the opportunity to deliver preventative psychology to your own patch of schools. You will build strong relationships and get to understand their needs. With the support of your supervisor, line manager and our experienced team, you will decide how best to use your time and skills to give your schools the best service.

At Applied Psychologies, we encourage creativity, systemic work, whole class interventions, consultation and training. Our assess-plan-do-review model for individual casework also offers the opportunity to design and implement collaborative interventions with schools and families and evaluate impact in the longer-term.
